Gutter clearance and cleaning to protect your property from water damage.

High-reach vacuum, camera proof before and after on every job. A blocked gutter is the cheapest way to wreck a fascia, soffit and the wall behind it — twice a year is all it takes to stop the problem.

Why gutters block up

Leaves, moss, twigs, and bird nests all collect in your guttering over the course of a year. In autumn, a single tree near the roofline can fill a gutter in weeks. Once the channel is blocked, water overflows and runs where it shouldn't: behind the fascia, down the outside wall, or into the cavity.

You might not notice the problem until you see damp patches on internal walls or the paint starts bubbling near the ceiling. By that point, the repair bill is already climbing — a four-figure fascia and soffit replacement to fix a problem that started as a £3-per-metre clean.

How we clear your gutters

We remove all debris by vacuum, flush the downpipes to make sure they're running freely, and check for any visible damage to the guttering itself. No ladders against your fascias — our extended-reach carbon-fibre pole system lets us do the work from ground level on most properties. The vacuum head goes into the gutter run and pulls debris straight out into a sealed drum on the driveway.

A pole-mounted camera shows what's in there before we start and what it looks like after we're done — every job, sent to you as proof.

Twice a year is enough for most properties

We recommend a gutter clear in spring and autumn. Spring catches the winter debris and any moss build-up from winter damp. Autumn catches the leaf fall before it has time to compact. If you've got overhanging trees, you might want a third visit in late summer. Regular customers can book recurring visits and get priority scheduling.

Twice-yearly works for most homes. Once after autumn leaf-fall and once in late spring catches both the heavy debris season and any moss build-up from winter damp.

Fascia and soffit cleaning while we're there

Since we're already up at gutter level, it makes sense to clean your fascias and soffits at the same time. Green and black marks on UPVC fascias don't mean they need replacing — a proper clean brings them back to near-white. We can quote for both services together and save you a second call-out.

Frequently asked questions

How much does gutter cleaning cost?

It depends on the size of the property and how accessible the gutters are. Our gutter clearing ranges from £3 to £5 per metre, with hopper heads and downpipe flushing included in standard runs. We'll give you a fixed price before we start.

Do window cleaners do gutters as well?

We do. Many window cleaning companies only do glass. We clean gutters, fascias, soffits, conservatory roofs and solar panels alongside our window cleaning service. You can bundle several jobs together and save on call-outs.

How often should I have my gutters cleaned?

Twice a year is enough for most homes — once in spring after winter, once in autumn after leaf fall. Properties near trees might need a third visit in late summer.
