Every job comes with a welcoming committee. These are the cats, dogs, birds and other characters we've met while cleaning windows, gutters and roofs across Kettering and the wider Northants area.
Updated as we go. If your pet ends up here and you'd rather they didn't — or you want their name added — drop M&M Exterior Cleaning a message.
Did a slow lap of the garden while we finished the windows. Took the scenic route, grazed a bit of grass, and gave the job an unhurried nod of approval.
Posted up behind the ivy to keep an eye on the windows getting cleaned. Struck a noble pose, decided the work was up to standard, and let us carry on.
Far too important to move for a couple of poles and a hose. One wide yawn for the camera, then back to running the place.
Stuck a pink tongue out the moment the camera came out. Held the pose just long enough for the shutter, then back to business.
Both of them came to the mesh together, pink noses pressed against the wire. Quiet, curious, and running the place between them.
Came right up to the bars to see who'd turned up. Pink nose, dark little eyes, paws braced on the floor — held the pose long enough for a proper portrait.
Set the water-fed pole down on the deck for two minutes and a whole crew turned up to inspect it. Stayed for the duration, refused to be relocated.
Hitched a ride on the shoulder of the hoodie halfway through the job. Stayed on for the camera, posed for a portrait, then carried on about its day.
Came out on the lead to inspect the work, paused mid-patio to issue a verbal review. Did a slow lap of the squeegee bucket before granting access to the next window.
Wandered off after the patio inspection to consider the ornamental grass at length. Settled into the gravel like it was a sunbed, fully ignoring the hose two feet away.
Heard the brush hit the glass and came straight up on his hind legs to investigate. Paws on the window, ginger nose tilted up, fully convinced the water show was put on just for him.
Met us at the side path and held position for the whole visit. Calm, watchful, and absolutely in charge of the gravel.
Trotted out the second the ladder went up. Did three full laps of the patio, decided we were fine, then sat down to keep an eye on us anyway.
Came over to the stable door for a hello, then stood perfectly still while we worked. Warm muzzle, soft eye, no fuss whatsoever.
Strutted out of the borders the moment the hose went on. Inspected our footwork from one leg, decided the standard was acceptable, and stayed for the rest of the shift.
Two glossy black hens working the patio between the shrubs and the brickwork. Heads down, claws busy, completely unbothered by the squeegee parade going on above them.
Two of them holding the coop down between the terracotta pots and the broom. One on her feet keeping watch, one settled in the straw — both entirely unbothered by the visitors.
Leaned in for a fuss the second we stepped through the gate. Soft ears, gentle eyes, and exactly zero interest in the kit once the strokes started.
Watched the whole shift from his hutch like a quiet landlord. Didn't move, didn't complain, just kept an eye on standards through the mesh.
Book a clean and send us a photo of your animal on the day — we'll add them to the gallery (with your blessing).
