Privacy notice

This notice explains how M&M Exterior Cleaning ("we", "us", owner-operated) handles the details you give us when you ask for a quote or get in touch.

The short version. We collect what we need to give you a quote and turn up to your property, we keep it for as long as we need it, and you can ask us to delete it any time — we'll do it within 30 days.

1. What we collect

When you use the quote form on this site, or contact us by phone/email, we collect:

Contact details — your name, phone number and/or email address.
Property details — postcode, property type, number of bedrooms and storeys.
Quote inputs — the services you've selected and the price band the calculator showed you.
Any free-text notes you choose to leave (e.g. access notes, preferred dates).
Technical metadata — your IP address and browser user-agent, logged by our form processor (FormVault) for spam/fraud protection.
Analytics events — anonymised page views and quote-funnel events handled by Plausible Analytics. Plausible does not use cookies and stores no personal data.

2. Lawful basis

We rely on two lawful bases under the UK GDPR:

Legitimate interest — to respond to your quote enquiry and arrange a site visit. Replying to a request you sent us is a textbook legitimate interest.
Consent — for any future marketing follow-up. We won't send you anything beyond the conversation about your job unless you explicitly tell us we can.

3. Retention period

How long we keep your details:

Quote enquiries in FormVault — retained for 12 months, then auto-purged.
Email correspondence and bookings — kept in M&M Exterior Cleaning's email/notes for as long as we owe each other anything (HMRC requires 6 years for invoiced work).
Plausible analytics events — aggregated and anonymous, no individual record to retain.

4. Who sees your details (recipient chain)

Your enquiry travels:

You submit the form on this site.
FormVault (operated by Beloved Websites, our website provider) acts as a data processor — it captures the submission and forwards it.
Resend is used by FormVault as an email-delivery sub-processor to land the message in M&M Exterior Cleaning's inbox.
M&M Exterior Cleaning reads, replies and — if you book — keeps a record alongside the job.

Plausible Analytics runs as a separate analytics processor on this site. It only sees anonymised events (no name, no email, no postcode beyond the first half).

5. FormVault as sub-processor

FormVault is the form-capture service operated by Beloved Websites (our website provider). It is hosted in the UK/EU and acts as our data processor under a written data-processing agreement.

6. Your rights & how to delete your data

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

Ask us what we hold about you (subject access request).
Correct anything that's wrong.
Ask us to delete what we hold (right to erasure).
Withdraw consent for any marketing follow-up.
Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you're unhappy with how we handle your data.

Our deletion SLA: 30 days. If you ask us to delete your details, we will confirm it's done within 30 calendar days of receiving your request.
